Naturally Resilient Communities is an online guide of nature-based solutions and related case studies of successful projects to help communities identify approaches that might work best for them. In this highly visual guide, users can select a hazard and choose a region, community type, scale, and cost to view a set of solutions and case studies that apply to the criteria selected.

This Guide Features

  • Options. A suite of nature-based infrastructure approaches are available for given locations based on the type of issue to be addressed (e.g., stormwater, flooding, or erosion control).
  • Examples. These projects address flooding issues such as wetland restoration, oyster reef construction, and beach dune restoration and how they contribute to risk reduction and other benefits.
