Urban Land Institute

The Urban Land Institute (ULI) is a non-profit and educational organization with 42,000 members from the land use and real estate development disciplines. ULI is dedicated to creating healthy, resilient, and high-performance communities around the U.S. and the world.

Through its Urban Resilience Program, ULI helps communities prepare for increased climate risk in ways that allow for a quicker, safer return to normalcy after an event. The Urban Resilience Program also provides resources and strategies for participants in the urban development process to help mitigate climate-related risks and create a more resilient vision for community development. By participating in the Digital Coast Partnership, ULI ensures that members, projects, and resilience planning efforts have access to critically important data and expertise. ULI is dedicated to supporting resilience planning efforts and research, and looks forward to continued collaboration with the Digital Coast partners to share and develop tools, visual information, and training materials related to climate adaptation.

ULI’s education program offers practical instruction for land use and real estate professionals at all levels, delivering best practices and lessons learned by experienced professionals.
