Gregory Woods
Integrated Information Services Division
Gregory E. Woods Sr. serves as the chief of the Integrated Information Systems division at NOAA’s Office for Coastal Management. He is responsible for providing a full range of information technology products, software application design, and data management services for our office.
Before joining NOAA, Gregory worked for the Department of Homeland Security’s U.S. Coast Guard and directed program management, strategic planning, and oversight for the infrastructure, emergency communication, and cyber security enterprise information technology portfolios. He has worked for several federal agencies and possesses over 25 years of experience implementing comprehensive enterprise technology solutions.
Gregory has a bachelor of science degree in administration of justice from George Mason University and a master’s degree in information systems management from Webster University. He completed the National Defense University’s Chief Information Officer and Leadership Program and has graduate-level certificates in information technology management from George Washington University and technical leadership from the University of Maryland. He possesses a federal acquisition senior certification for program and project management with an information technology core-plus specialization and has proudly served in the United States Marine Corps.
